After installing Linux (Ubuntu) on my netbook, and after reading an article or two about easy Linux configurations for running a home server, I’m actually thinking about running Athena, my home server, on Linux instead of Windows Xp, which she has been running on for quite a while.

wondering if I should go out for presents or not.

It has been quite a while sionce I wrote anything usefull or interesting here, sorry about that.

Anyway, I’ve got another date friday with Nina , just a drink and maybe she’ll stay over, who knows
She’ll also be joining me for my company’s christmas party in Utrecht, yay!

Can’t wait!

Other than that, not much news:

• still working in Amsterdam
• still drinking cappuccino’s
• still playing WoW, although I did switch to another server (Blade’s Edge)  and joined a really fun guild, check them out: www.worldofguilty.com
• I’ve got my Microsoft 70-293 exam wednesday the 11th, after that just one more for my MCSE certification, and
• after that on to CCNA , wish me luck!

Also I bought some really nice books lately, a collector’s edition of The Hobbit and a 50th anyversary edition of The Lord of the Rings.

My birthday is comming up in a month so updating my wishlist a bit too, not sure if I’ll invite people, but if I do, I’ll let you guys know, took the day off from work anyway.

Ok, so last week I finally found out what was causing os much spam in my mail.

Appears the wordpress theme I had been using for a long time, had a leaky php mailer file.

Deleted the theme and reverted to an older one in the meantime, while I look for a newer one.
